Everything I wrote in December
December is always a quiet month for tastings and trade events, so I was able to catch up on writing up various long-pending articles, as well as fitting in a quick visit to an English wine producer in Sussex. Now that January is underway, Burgundy week is kicking off to give a busy start to the year.
The bottle of Blue Nun 1974 pictured above was found in The Little Museum of Dublin, which I visited over the new year period.
Here’s everything I published last month.
On JancisRobinson.com:
My Spittoon column considered the flaws of the scores (free to read)
38 tasting notes from the latest Oddbins range (subscription required)
106 tasting notes on older Rhône wines (subscription required)
17 tasting notes and a short article on the wines of Moldova and Bulgaria (subscription required)
My Living France column began a new theme, examining great French wines via great quotes, starting with Hillaire Belloc and Chambertin
… and there were four posts here on my blog.
