Everything I wrote in November
November started off busy with another visit to the Rhône valley where I was tasting more wines from the very good 2017 vintage (pictured is the crazy decoration in the toilet at Stéphane Ogier in Côte Rôtie). Back in London, I helped out with two major JancisRobinson.com events - a faults workshop and a Languedoc tasting. It was a busy time, but things started winding down towards the end of the month, and December is proving to be fairly quiet, as per usual. Here’s what I wrote last month:
On JancisRobinson.com:
An overview of my recent visit to South Africa, including two tasting articles reviewing 112 white wines and 169 red wines (subscription needed)
Eight articles on the 2017 vintage in the Rhône valley, including 865 tasting notes - see this guide article for more information (free to read)
A wine of the week also from the Rhône, from the best producer in Vacqueyras (free to read)
My Living France column looked back on the 12 wines in my ultimate French wine case
My Drinks Retailing News column considered how cheap wine is possible
There were four posts here on my blog
… and finally, the last four episodes of series four of A Glass With were released, featuring Shivi Ramoutar, José Pizarro, Adam Henson and Bob Blue.
