Everything I wrote in August
As usual, August was a quiet month as most of the wine industry went on holiday - including me, where I took the above picture of Sangiovese mid-veraison in Tuscany. Back at home, things were still ticking over, so here is everything I wrote last month:
- On JancisRobinson.com, I wrote:
- 32 tasting notes from the best Australian tasting ever (possibly) (subscription required)
- My Spittoon column considered wine, eggs and the tyranny of choice (free to read)
- 32 tasting notes on some of the best wines of the Languedoc (subscription required)
- Nine tastings notes on a miniature vertical of Valbuena 5º (subscription required)
- A seminal wine of the week, from the winery I worked at in 2008: Kangarilla Road Chardonnay (free to read)
- 38 tasting notes on some (mostly) unusual wines from The Wine Society (subscription required)
- An announcement about the newest Masters of Wine (free to read)
- My Living France column visited Jean Foillard in Morgon
- My Drinks Retailing News column question some nagging doubts
- And there were four posts on the blog.
