Everything I wrote in June
In June, restaurants and bars reopened in Singapore after nearly 11 weeks of lockdown. At the same time, after a few months publishing relatively few articles, I put much more online during the month. While the future is still uncertain, it does seem like we have taken a few steps back towards some sort of normality. Touch wood.
Here’s everything I wrote in June 2020.
On JancisRobinson.com, I wrote:
A homage to Syrah, that was one of the site’s most-read articles: The wine that is better than God? (subscription needed)
An article examining the benefit of Vivino to merchants (subscription needed)
My monthly column dipped its tongue into tea tasting (free to read)
And a wine of the week from Uruguay (free to read)
My Drinks Retailing News column considered whether the future of wine is online.
An article examining Chinese wine on the Vintec Club website
Some thoughts on what makes wine meaningful on Club Oenologique
Two posts here on the blog
I also appeared on the Wine Curmudgeon podcast, released four new episodes of the podcast I produce with Olly Smith and hosted eight webinars for 67 Pall Mall, including interviews with Paul Symington and Philippe Guigal among many other great wine people.
