Everything I wrote in March
I've been on holiday quite a bit in March, so it has been a slightly less productive month for writing. I will be updating the blog regularly again as of 11 April. Here's what I wrote last month. Incidentally, the 'wine dollar bill' image is something I made using the excellent free online Pixlr software which I'm using to illustrate an article to be published later in April.
- On JancisRobinson.com there were the following articles:
- A round-up of Spanish wines, featuring 78 tasting notes and a host of excellent bottles mostly imported by Indigo Wine (subscription required)
- Insoluble Suppositories was the title of my monthly Spittoon column (free to read)
- 73 tasting notes on Grüner Veltliner (subscription required)
- 72 tasting notes on some excellent Californian Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from the In Pursuit of Balance tasting (subscription required)
- My Off Licence News column considered the power of nostalgia brands
- My Living France column gave an introduction to the wines of the Loire Valley
- Six blog posts including the most popular:
- Being rude about wine
- Are Lidl and Aldi bad for wine? (which inspired this riposte from the Sediment blog)
- English sparkling wine reaches adulthood
